Hearts of Oak: Ghanaian giants hold Togolese champions to 2-2 draw in Lome
Hearts drew with Semassi

Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak held Togolese champions FC Semassi to a 2-2 drawn game in an international friendly in Lome on Sunday afternoon.

Paul Acquah drew first blood for the Phobians with a brilliant effort on the halve hour mark from a Kwame Kizito assist but the Championnat National title-winners pulled even ten minutes later with midfielder Abdullai Alhassan cancelling it out for the host.

But after the break, Herbert Addo's reshuffling of the squad paid dividends as Abdul Fatau connected a Emmanuel Hayford inch-perfect cross to restore the lead for the former African champions.

However, their lead could not last as the host levelled once more. Opkozo Zailu scoring for Semassi mid-way through the half.

Hearts have embarked on the campaign to gain international exposure for their players as they get ready for a return for continental football.
