The Ghana League Clubs Association is considering sanctions for Hearts of Oak for boycotting the return leg of the Top 4 final.

Hearts wanted the rematch played in Accra instead of the Baba Yara Stadium but GHALCA rejected their request.

GHALCA will meet on Wednesday and refer the conduct of Hearts to the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

“There is possible of them facing some sanctions because the start of this competition, there was regulation governing this Top 4 and it was made clear stated in the regulations that if you withdraw or you do any other thing that will bring the name of the competition into disrepute, there are various sanctions that you will face,” vice-chairman Isaac Koomson.

“If you withdraw or walk off the pitch, you attract GHS 50,000 fine.”
