Ghanaian Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have confirmed the arrival of Burkina Faso international goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama ahead of his proposed move to the club.

Soulama is expected to ink a 3-year-contract at Hearts by the close of the week.

"Yes he [Soulama] is in our camp and we are hoping to complete the deal to make him an official Hearts of Oak player," Hearts spokesperson Muheed Saeed told Accra-based Oman FM.

Hearts have missed out on Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure as the striker who scored in the GHALCA Top-Four tie with Heart of Lions, has signed for rivals Asante Kotoko.

But Muheed has promised fans the club will sign an equally good striker before the closure of the Ghanaian transfer window.

"Toure wasn't our player, he asked to join the club and as an adult, decided to change his mind so we can't force him to sign for us but I can assure fans that before the end of the transfer window, we will sign an equally good striker," he added.
