Hearts of Oak administrative manager Hackman Aidoo has ruled out Professor Kwesi Mintah and Yusif Abubakar for the vacant coaching job.

The Phobians have mounted a search for a new head coach after refusing to extend Mohammed Polo’s short-term contract which expired at the end of the season.

There have been widespread media reports linking the Mintah, a psychology lecturer at the Cape Coast University and former Ebusua Dwarfs coach to the job.

He is also the psychologist for the senior national team and just returned from the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Abubakar, coach of Heart of Lions, and a former assistant coach at the club was also mentioned in some quarters.

But the club’s chief administrator says the two are no longer in the race.

"When you are searching for a coach, you can’t talk to a single one so the leaders were talking to a number of coaches but for Prof I think he’s not available of his job. For Yusif, maybe, he is also not coming,’’ Aidoo told GHANASoccernet.com

Fresh reports have linked Peruvian Carlos Roberto Paulette, who has parted ways with Medeama, and Herbert Addo to the coaching position at Hearts.
