Hearts not there yet - coach David Duncan

Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan says his team is not quite ready to recapture their glory days.

The Phobians are facing a real battle against relegation following a shambolic first half performance in the Ghanaian top flight.

Hearts, currently in the relegation zone with a paltry 15 points need a springboard win over King Faisal on the league’s resumption this Sunday.

But coach Duncan says his team is not ‘there yet’ in meeting the huge expectations of its fans.

“We are still working on the team and I don’t think we are here yet,” Duncan said.

“There are some players that we need to work on and make sure we build a formidable side as we have all known Accra Hearts of Oak to be.”

That’s why you are there so don’t tell us just do it,I mean work on them.no more excuses.

  3. Fresher says:

David Duncan is nowhere near an average coach let alone be the brains to save Hearts of Oaks, David Duncan is a novice when it comes to what technicalities of football are. In my estimation, I’ll give David Duncan a ZERO sum rating when it comes to coaching successes and techniques, because David Duncan has demonstrated in his coaching itenary as a bankrupt head and has shown in no less ways that he is certainly the man to take Hearts of Oaks to its DESTINED relegation.

  4. nii says:

I-man yeah really understand you but we love to go around issues rather than solving them.it may surprise u to known that the said issues he have seen will be there till till.we need to solve issues rather than going around it.-

  5. poly says:

I trust Duncan, and i know waht duncan can do with Hearts of oak. Stay Bless Phobians.

  6. Sammie akd says:

Hearts of Oak is a great club. Once you’re a coach and you accept that responsibility, you shd be ready for all the pressure and make sure you deliver. I still belief Hearts can make it into the top four once we have the determination and right mentality. it’s the same approach AC used to beat Barca . . .
