Hearts name former goalie Tettevi to replace Damba

Ghanaian Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have named former goalkeeper Dan Tettevi as replacement for Abukari Damba who left the last week.

The Phobians parted ways with Damba, a former Ghana international goalkeeper, over reported unhealthy relationship with head coach David Duncan.

Tettevi who spent close to eight seasons with the 2000 African Champions has been brought in as new trainer.

He was the first choice goalkeeper when Hearts reached the semi-final of the African Cup Winners Cup in 1982.

The former Zaytuna FC trainer holds a basic certificate in coaching.
