Hearts midfielder Stephen Tetteh has declared coach David Duncan as the ‘great one’ ahead of the start of the new soccer season.
Duncan earned reviews last season after guiding the team to a respectable fifth position from a difficult start in the first round.
The Phobians are back in the midst to reclaim the Premier League crown which has remained elusive for the last four years.
And Tetteh, who joined the capital-based side at the start of last season’s second round, has lauded the qualities of the ex-Ashantigold trainer, describing him as the ‘great one’.
“He is the great one, he is a great Coach and I am happy to work with him”. Tetteh told Radio XYZ
“He is very good to all of us. As a manager he is so influential, he motivates us, psychologically he does things to make us feel that we are the best.
“He puts confidence in us, trust us to deliver and we also try to get the results for him. He is good. He is a good Coach.”
Hearts will travel to Bekwai to face New Edubiase in the season’s opener on Sunday.
