Aduana Stars have confirmed receiving an official bid fromà Hearts of Oakà for defender Godfred Saka.
The left-back was one of the star performers in the just ended Ghanaian top flight.
Hearts coach David Duncan believes Saka's acquisition will strengthen his side in what is to be a title challenging season in the upcoming campaign.
The club have now lodged an official bid for the 21-year-old but Aduana say it will be difficult to let their influential defender go.
"We have recieved an official bid from Hearts for Godfred Saka," the club's operations manager George Gyawu has confirmed.
"We welcome the bid but it will be considered and all options will be thought through.
"If itââ¬â¢s about money and we can keep him of course we will look at it to ensure he remains here.
"We are determined to keep hold of all our quality players in order to be strong for competitions ahead.
"So the bid will be considered and we'll see how it goes."
The Right to Dream academy graduateââ¬â¢s consistent displays in recent seasons have seen him on the fringes of the national team.
He is a regular with the local Black Stars but yet to make his debut with the ââ¬ËAââ¬â¢ Black Stars team.
