Hearts Mahatma Otoo request for strike partner

Posted On Tuesday, 13th December 2011

By Patrick Akoto

Hearts of Oak forward Mahatma Otoo admits he needs a striking partner to help him deliver the goals for the club this season.

Otoo has been criticized for his poor conversion rate and has scored a paltry three goals in 11 matches.

The 19-year-old was on target for the side when they beat Medeama SC 2-1 at the Accra Sports stadium and he says the club must purchase a striker to partner him.

He told Pravda sports: “Yes I will think we’ll need another striker to help me score more goals for the club.

“The league is far from over and so will urge our supporters to be patient with us as we take a game after the other.”

Hearts tackle Tema Youth next in the Premier League on 18 December.

OBVIOUSLY, IT WOULD APPEAR THAT WHEN YOU ASK A PLAYER IF HE THINKS THE CLUB SHOULD GET SOMEONE TO PARTNER HIM TO DELIVER THE ANSWER CAN ONLY BE “YES, I NEED A STRIKE PARTNER”

  2. Deku emmanuel says:

So don’t we all know hearts’s problemthis season s trickers?otoo u are soooo right bt u must also lift ur gam up

  3. Sammer, 9ja says:

Get Baffour from bechem to partner him. That partnership will be deadly. Is like osei koffour n Ishmael addo era.

  4. fada from teshi says:

i think the acquisition of Jacob Kwao of tudu mighty jets is a sure bet.remember the days in the u-20 when he scored in almost every game.just find out..

  5. Paa Willie says:

Why is Otoo rating himself higher than his other attackers? While I admit that the inclusion of Baffour from Bechem Chelsea is a good option, I will equally want to agree that Otoo need to train himself very well in his scoring ability. In modern practical football you need to watch others play to improve in your scoring ability as a striker. For me I will advise Otoo that if he is in hurry to score he should not rush.

  6. prince bawah osman says:

mahatma is right. he needs someone like yakubu mohammed of ashgold
