Striker James Abban would miss Hearts' opener against Tema Youth on Wednesday

By: Akyereko Frimpong Manson

Accra Hearts of Oak could be without striker James Abban for their Glo Premier League opener against Tema Youth on Wednesday due to injury.

The former Liberty Professionals striker did not attend the Phobians’ training session in Gomoa Fetteh on Monday with a muscle stretch.

Abban suffered the injury at Hearts’ training two weeks ago but was able to participate in training on Tuesday.

However C K Akonnor is not likely to include the target-man in his 18-man squad for the game.

Midfielder Romeo Agban has also been ruled out of the game.

Hearts are fine-tuning their preparation ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Tema Youth at the Tema Stadium at Feyenoord’s astro-turf in Fetteh.
