Maxwell Konadu could replace dismissed CK Akunnor a Hearts
By Patrick Akoto
Hearts of Oak have lined up Maxwell Konadu to take over the coaching job in an interim-basis following the dismissal of CK Akunnor, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
Officials of the capital-based club have contacted the former Asante Kotoko trainer to take over the vacant position.
GHANAsoccernet.com sources gather the 39-year-old is relishing the prospect of coaching the club only in a short-term basis.
Akunnor was shown the exit door after he supervised three straights defeats, a draw and a win, leaving just above the relegation zone.
The Board of Directors took the decision to part ways with the former Ghana captain on Wednesday after failing to clamp down on growing indiscipline in the dressing room.
Akunnor was appointed in March 2011 after the club’s severed ties with Serbian coach Nebojsa Vucicevic.
With all due respect to Accra Hearts of Oak but i don’t think he will be foolish enough to consider such a move.
Hahahahahahaha u now want kotoko former coach .shame on to u phobians
very funny, after seeing what u v done to Ck, you think he will stop being d assisstant coach of Kwasi Appiah, to be an interrim Coach for this frustrated club? No way.
It would be the most stupid decision if Maxwell accept this job
They’ve seen nothing yet. We live to see. U want Maxwell to come and score us(Fabu boyz). If that was ur plan, then it won’t work. Big SHAAAAAAAAAAME! Hearts Of Rubber! Hahaha, Yes Man!
Thank God that CK have been sacked, he just hate a boy of mine who is in the team and never allowed him to play a single game, but the boy is far far better than so many other guys who are playing now. Again Thank God for that.
I think duncan must replace ck not max
Haaa, haaa, haaa, haaa! Infact, Hearts of Oaks are locked in a slow dance of death. Simplistically, Hearts of Oaks is a BLIND sighted club that relies on SOUND ECHOES and KICKINGS to find its way. Holistically, Hearts of Oaks has effectively sentenced itself to a perpetual GLOOM, where its DOOM is likely to DRAG it down into a state of the proverbial fallen GIANT, whose body is being eaten by any animal. Konadu will not take this kind of morbid job, where many good and competent coaches have lost their pants and were eventually hanged. Lol
Akunno’s days were numbered the first day he started with Hearts. Kunadu should stay where he is, he should not go to Hearts.
we dont want any ex kotoko player cum coach in our glorios phobia-WAKE UP MANAGEMENT. Phoooooooobia-never say die
