Ex-Hearts star Mohammed Polo has backed Herbert Add to reverse the side’s fortunes in the Ghanaian top-flight this season.

Hearts survived a late scare to beat high-flying Aduana Stars 3-2 on Wednesday to move out of the relegation zone.

The Phobians have flattered to deceive with their inconsistent displays becoming a source of concern for most of their teeming fans.

However, Polo, who has in recent times attacked the supporters for their treatment of coaches, has backed the former Aduana Stars winning coach to turn things around.

“With the right kind of support I believe he can turn things around,” he said. He is a good coach and only need the support of everybody.

“Everybody knows my stand when it comes to the supporters but I am not going to talk about that.

“The team is in a transition and it will take time for things to work out. They should support him and I believe things will be fine.”

Hearts are now 12th on the table with 11 points from nine games and travel to Benin to face AS Police in the reverse fixture of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
