Former Hearts of Oak striker Ishmael Addo, praised the current players for their effort in progressing to the next stage of the on-going CAF Confederation Cup.

The maiden winners of the CAF confederation have struggled on the domestic scene with inconsistency the bane of their campaign.

They however have looked good on the continental stage after grinding another display to secure an impressive 0-0 score line in Benin to progress to the next stage of the CAF confederation   cup at the expense AS Police.

“If they have progressed then they have done really well because truth be told many did not give them a chance,” Addo told GHANASoccernet.com

“Team effort is always important for me and I am sure that could have been the only way they would have pulled it off.”

Hearts will take on Senegalese club Olympique De Ngor in the next round of games.
