Hearts are through to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after grinding out a pulsating 0-0 draw against AS Police in the reverse fixture of the competition on Saturday.

The Ghanaian managed to grind out a draw in the return leg fixture to progress on a one-nil aggregate win.

Hearts have struggled for form on the domestic scene but are slowly making progress on the continent.

The former African champions kept the composure in the midst of intense pressure to ensure qualification to the next stage of the competition.

The Accra-based side are warming their way on their return to continental football and awaits their next opponent.

They will play either Unisport Bafang of Cameroon or Senegalese side Olympique de Ngor in the next stage of the competition.
