Lawyer of David Duncan, Amoah Larbi has confirmed his client has received his complete due compensation from Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians were ordered to pay a staggering $40,000 compensation to Duncan for his wrongful dismissal in November 2013.
The club also failed in its appeal to the Ghana FAââ¬â¢s Status Committee ruling.
Hearts, facing financial challenges had to engage Duncan and his representatives to negotiate for a reduced amount.
The protracted negotiations is believed to be one of the reasons why Duncanââ¬â¢s prospective return to coach Great Olympics fell through.
An amount was eventually settled on but payments was to be made in tranches.
Duncanââ¬â¢s lawyer, Amoah Larbie has now confirmed his client has received the full negotiated compensation to end the saga with Hearts of Oak.
ââ¬ÅWe renegotiated with Hearts and they have been able to pay the debt owed to David Duncan,â⬠Larbie told Peace FM.
ââ¬ÅThe amount was reduced for Hearts and theyââ¬â¢ve finished paying.
ââ¬ÅWe therefore no longer have any issues with Hearts.ââ¬
David Duncan has now agreed to join rivals Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal.
