Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama says his improved form is down to hard work.

The Burkina Faso shot-stopper was considered the man of the match in Hearts’ goalless draw with AS Police on Saturday in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The draw secured progress for the Phobians to the next stage of the competition.

Soulama has come in for a lot of praise following Hearts’ progress in Africa.

This is in sharp contrast to the treatment handed him during his final African campaign with rivals Asante Kotoko where he was accused of taking a bribe in Kotoko’s early Champions League exit against JSM Bejaia.

The 35-yearold however says his rising form is down to his insatiable appetite for hard work.

“There is no secret here. It is only hard work,” he said.

“We have to remain focused and work even harder to do better things.”
