Hearts will return to practice on Wednesday when they battle Amidaus Professionals in a pre-season friendly at the Tema Sports stadium.

Both teams would like to give their bench a chance to showcase their talent in what will be their penultimate match of the pre-season.

Not only do the new new signings will be looking to prove a point but also the benchwarmers from last season would want to have their starting place back.

Amidaus have recently been promoted into the Ghana Premier League and would like to prove themselves at the top level.

They have acquired some experienced players including Yahaya Mohammed and Owusu Sefa to aid their campaign this term.

The game against the newly promoted side will be Hearts’ toughest pre-season game and they would be relishing this opportunity highlight the improvement in their squad.

It’s third straight trophyless for Hearts as they failed yet again in their quest to add some silverware last season.

But head coach CK Akunnor is determined to return the 2000 African Champions to the top once again.
