Hearts of Oak have denied reaching an agreement to sign Ghana midfielder Rahim Ayew.
The Phobians are said to have reached an agreement to sign the Ghana international on a two-year contract.
Hearts have been in talks with the ex Zamalek midfielder who is a free agent after leaving Belgian club SK Lierse after the last European season.
The son of Ghana legend has now been reported to have agreed to join the Ghanaian giants on a two-year deal.
Hearts of Oak have however dismissed this report – insisting no agreement is in place.
“We have not signed Rahim Ayew,” Hearts’ Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“When we reach a deal we will make the announcement.”
