Hearts of Oak defender Nuru Sulley has signed a three-year deal with Libyan side Al-Ittihad Tripoli.
The centre-back had already reached a deal with another Libyan outfit Al Nasr but his move from the Ghanaian giants was not concretized.
It is understood that compatriot Yahaya Mohammed who inked a deal with them months back recommended Sulleyââ¬â¢s signing.
ââ¬ÅInitially, the turmoil in Libya made me rescind my decision to join Al Nasr but make a loan return to my mother club Accra Hearts of Oak,â⬠the 2014 CHAN star said.
ââ¬ÅI received this offer from Ittihad while training and negotiating the agreement with Hearts of Oak.ââ¬
Al-Ittihad Tripoli will feature in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup and wait for the start of the Libyan Premier League next January.
