Hearts of Oak have been handed a two home-match ban and fined (US$ 1,500) Gh¢ 3,000 after being found guilty on six out of seven counts of misconduct by their supporters.
But the ban has been served already after the Accra Stadium was closed down temporarily after the incident.
Hearts had to play Medeama in Cape Coast which they lost 1-0 and split points with Aduana at the Obuasi Len Clay last Sunday in a 2-2 stalemate.
The capital club were charged for the incidents that occurred during their Premier League fixture against King Faisal at on 3 November.
Angry fans invaded the pitch after the final whistle and attempted to beat up referee Otis Oppong who they accused of bias officiating in the 1-1 draw.
A Disciplinary Committee statement said: "In line with GFA Regulations Article 39 (1)(d), the Committee imposes on Hearts of Oak S.C a 2-match home ban on its use of the Accra Sports Stadium and a fine of Gh¢ 3,000.
"The GFA/PLB in calculating the ban must include home match bans already served by reason of Executive Committee decision to close the venue after the said match."
