Hearts are hoping to complete deals for Aduana Stars duo Godfred Saka and Stephen Adams this week.
The Ghanaian giants are in the market looking for quality players to augment their squad ahead of the start of the new season.
The capital-based side have been linked with the two players for close to two seasons but have been unsuccessful in the past to lure them to the capital.
The club is now closing on defender Saka as well as Black Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams.
Aduana have placed a huge price tag on the two players, making it difficult for the club to negotiate a deal.
But reports in the local media have suggested a deal for the two players will be reached by the close of the week barring any unforeseen contingencies.
Hearts have played catch-ups to arch-rivals Kotoko for the past three seasons and have gone without a trophy since 2008.
