Hearts coach Mohammed Polo criticized goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard for conceding a cheap goal during the side’s 2-1 defeat at home to Heart of Lions.

The Phobians lost the second position to Lions after going down at the Accra sports stadium.

Hearts drew first blood through in-form Winful Cobbinah before Kwadwo Poku and Prince Acquah scored in either halves to bag the maximum points.

However, under-pressure Hearts trainer Mohammed Polo believes stand-in goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard could have done something about the match-winner.

“We played well but unfortunately we failed to take our chances and in the end we paid dearly for it,” he said

“But you look at the second goal and you would say that he should done better.

“You can allow such a cheap ball to score. He shouldn’t have allowed that ball to enter the net.

“But like I said, it’s a collective responsibility. We have to go back to the drawing board and prepare for our next game.”

The Accra side now trail arch-rivals Kotoko by staggering 12 points with six games to end the season.
