Hearts of Oak look to replicate their impressive form in their win over Aduana Stars when they face Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.

The Phobians clinched a famous 1-0 win over Aduana at their dreaded Dormaa ground to end a run of poor results in the Ghanaian top flight.

Hearts will now be looking to replicate an even better performance when they host Dwarfs in the midweek clash on Wednesday.

The club’s Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe says he expects another ‘spirited’ performance from the team against Dwarfs to atone for recent poor results at home.

“Our performance hit a major low especially in our home game against Wa All Stars,” he said at the team’s pre-match press conference.

“But we were able to go to a difficult ground like Dormaa to get all the three points.

“So we expect another spirited performance in Wednesday’s game against Dwarfs.

“We see a lot of encouragement on the road and that same encouragement must be replicated at home.”

Hearts remain top points adrift leaders Asante Kotoko going into the Week 18 fixture.

The Phobians have had an indifferent season this term – falling off their title surge after the dismissal of coach David Duncan.

The team however look to be picking up the pieces under club legend Mohammed Polo.
