Moro Abubakar believes Hearts are heading in the right direction and has told supporters it is only a matter of time before everything clicks into place.
The capital-based side have been adapting to a new style of play after David Duncan was sacked under controversial circumstances and Mohammed Polo took charge.
Hearts dropped points against Aduana Stars to leave them six-point behind rivals Asante Kotoko in the title race.
Captain Moro Abubakar is confident there will be an upturn in the teamââ¬â¢s fortunes as they adjust to the philosophy of the new trainer.
"There has to be a bit of patience," he said. Ã "It's always difficult changing styles, and when a new coach comes in there's normally a settling in period.
"But we've got the right ideas, and I believe we're heading in the right direction.
"We've played some good stuff, although we dropped points against Aduana Stars. Weââ¬â¢ve got to keep fighting hard.ââ¬
Hearts travel to Wa to face under-pressure All Stars in their next Premier League game on Sunday.
