Hearts brush aside Liberty 3-1 to maintain impressive pre-season form

Hearts of Oak thumped Liberty 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium

Hearts of Oak preserved their their impressive pre-season form by beating city-rivals Liberty Professionals 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday. 

Striker James Abban opened the scoring for the Phobians five minutes into the game after firing past his former teammate Daniel Agyei.

Midfielder Kennedy Ashia pulled even for Liberty in the 65th minute with a close range finish.

C K Akonnor’s side worked themselves into the game as striker Edward Affum restore the lead Hearts.

New signing Paa Boateng killed any Liberty fight-back hopes by scoring seven minutes from time.

Hearts have been impressive in pre-season.

    Well said GAS @ UCC, the PHOBIANS did all they could to evade the SUPER 2 clash against Kotoko, but here they are after demonstrating the instinct of a coward HYENA that picks off the weakest and the feeblest of LAMBS, some of them are even daring enough just after a single insignificant victory to come out after sooo many months in the hiding due to a strings of painful defeats and are now making all sorts of disturbing noises and arrogating to themselves all sorts of mighty titles and accolades. Well, the Phobians can run but can never run.
