Thomas Abbey set for Hearts return

Midfielder Thomas Abbey is in line to make a first team return for Hearts of Oak on Sunday after recovering from a knee injury.

The 21-year-old has been out for a month after sustaining the injury while in action for the Phobians in the CAF Confederation Cup match against AS Police.

Abbey has returned to full scale training for the Hearts and could play in the big Accra derby against Great Olympics on Sunday.

His return will give Herbert Addo’s side a good boost as Abbey is considered one of the genuine talents of the side.
