Hearts board chairman to up salaries and bonuses

Hearts of Oak players will have a pay rise

Hearts of Oak board chairman Togbe Afedzi XIV has promised a mouth-watering financial package to make the club the best paid in Ghana.

Monthly salaries will be increased and winning bonuses for home and away matches will be upped as well.

Hearts players are reported to be earning between 150 Ghana cedis and 320 Ghana cedis.

AshantiGold, Berekum Chelsea, Medeama and Asante Kotoko have the best salary structures in the Ghana top-flight.

The former African champions ended last season trophy-less and this initiative is expected to motivate players and attract big-name signings.

Yeah, 21st Century Hearts. These are the few bottlenecks that de-motivate great players. Laryea earns 2000 cedis a month, GSN don’t you know that? Well this is exactly why we sought additional capital by floating shares. In the coming season, when everything is settled, every club will undertake shareholding. Its bad, but the new owner will better it. Nevertheless, it still remains the most successful Ghana club of all-time. Any challenger yet? Bring your Champs League and Super Cup!!

Ha ha ha! So H of Oaks players are just a little better than “HOUSE HELPS”. So is this peanuts that H of Oaks players earn for all their commitments and hardwork in this modern days of professionalism? No wonder they falsely accuse their players of “BRIBERY” whenever results of matches goes against the club. No wonder the club cannot attract quality players and even those good ones they can boast of are not renewing their contracts and instead choose leaving the club by the day.

Banku Bods, are you kidding me, its the only franchise in the history of world soccer besides Manchester United and until recently FC Barcelona to win four major tournaments in a single season. Its also the only African club to be ranked among the top ten clubs in the world. What else do you wanna know??? beating the reds four goals with no reply or winning the Confederation Cup riht on their nose after they took the difference maker Charles Taylor….
