Kotoko midfielder Yahaya Mohammed claims Hearts dashed scared of him during their 1-0 win in Sunday’s derby clash.
The 24-year-old teased and tormented the defenders of the capital-based side with his strength and skills at the Accra sports stadium.
The former OGC Nice loanee claims defenders of Hearts were ‘afraid’ of his immense potential and that resulted in the famous win.
“I will say the Hearts players were afraid of me going into the game,” Mohammed said.
“We went into the game with a well-rehearsed strategy and it worked to perfection.
“We have 28 matches more to play and so we have to continue fighting hard.
“The road will be tough but we’re confident about our chances this season.”
Kotoko will next host New Edubiase at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.
