Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have ended their pursuit of Ghana second-choice keeper Stephen Adams, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.

The Phobians failed to meet Aduana Stars' astronomical demands for the signature of the 26-year-old and have decided not to pursue him again.

In his place, the 20-time Ghanaian champions have secured Burkina Faso international goalkeeper Soulaima Abdoulaye who left rivals Asante Kotoko at the end of last season.

Hearts have been chasing after the signature of Adams for the past three seasons but have failed to sign him.

He was a member of the Ghana squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
