Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions will not file a protest against Hearts of Oak who flouted the rules for fielding four foreigners in a league match.

According to a dailysoccerhana.com report that the Kpando-based side do not want to throw away money to file a protest in a match they won.

The rules and regulations forbid club are not allowed to field more than three foreign players in a league game.

Hearts were guilty after playing Robin Gnagne, Basson Landry all Ivorians and Burkinabe goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama, Shaun October from South Africa.

Heart of Lions won the match 1-0 at the Kpando Park.
