Benjamin Fadi at Malmo FF training ground

Heart of Lions striker Benjamin Fadi is being assessed by Swedish Allsvenskan side Malmo FF.

Fadi will play his first match on Tuesday but assistant coach Daniel Anderson has been impressed with him in training.

The Ghana Under-20 striker arrived at the Swedbank Stadion two weeks ago after his solitary gave Lions a 1-0 win over King Faisal.

“We have been in contact since the summer. Our chief scout Vito Stavljanin was travelling along with the agent Pontus Morck and saw Benjamin play and we were so interested that we wanted to invite him.  But we decided that it had to be after the season, “Malmo Sporting director Per Agren said.

Malmo finished third in the just ended Swedish top-flight and will play in next season’s UEFA Europa League.

Fadi will miss his side’s Ghana Premier League matches against Aduana Stars and Berekum Arsenal.
