Fans of Hearts of Lions plan to invade the Accra Sports stadium in their numbers this Sunday against Hearts of Oak in the First Capital Plus Ghana Premier League.

Kpando Hearts of Lions who looked a rejuvenated side beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko back to back and are currently running on a devouring spree seeking to add Hearts of Oak to their list.

The decision by the supporters comes after Randy Abbey, the majority shareholder, had a brief meeting with the supporter’s union (Dens) of the club after their 1-0 victory over New Edubiase at the Kpando Park.

He urged the fans and people of the Volta Region to throw their weight and support behind the team.

“We are happy that match after match your attendance is improving, but I expect that you patronize the games in higher numbers than what we’re seeing now,” Abbey said.

“Am sure that when the players see you in those huge numbers at the stadium it serves as a motivator for them because they as players know that you people are behind them and they having a massive support.”

Fans from Kpando, Ho, Hohoe, Keta, Aflao and others totaling about 200 are expected in Accra to cheer Lions to victory.

Heart of Lions currently lie third on the table with 37 points.
