Hasaacas coach Yusif Bassigi says the timing of Mas-Ud Dramani’s ‘sacking’ from Asante Kotoko is wrong.

The former national women’s team coach has been directed by the champions to proceed on an accumulated leave following a string on unimpressive results in the Ghana Premier League.

Many believe the move is the first step by the club’s board in a grand scheme to get rid of Dramani.

The club is even unofficially on a hunt for a new coach with the likes of David Duncan and Yusif Abubakar the most talked of.

But Hasaacas coach Yusis Bassigi has criticized this move – saying the timing is wrong.

“I think the timing of the sacking of Didi Dramani is wrong,” he said.

“I call it a sack because I don’t buy this proceed on leave thing.

“He has been fired and I think it is a wrong move by Asante Kotoko.”
