Hasaacas coach Yusif Basigi believes the Ghana League is stron

Sekondi Hasaacas coach Yusif Basigi claims this year's league has been one of the most competitive despite Kumasi Asante Kotoko's strong dominance.

The Porcupine Warriors have lost six games this season but still hold a ten point advantage over their nearest rivals Heart of Lions.

And their dominance even with that poor loss record has led to suggestions the league has lost its competitive edge.

Sekondi Hasaacas has been one of the bright spots though and sit proudly in the top four.

"Well for me this season’s league has been very tight and I’m sure all the teams will tell you exactly the same," Basigi says.

"There have been difficult games, the level of play has been great and clubs like us who were deemed as underdogs have really shaken the system this year."

Basigi also feels Kumasi Asante Kotoko have done enough to dominate the local scene.

"They have played the best football and with the points advantage and six games remaining, I really don't see them letting it slip," he added.
