Hasaacas coach Yusif Basigi bemoaned his side’s lack of a cutting edge in their 1-1 draw with defending champions Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.

The Sekondi-based dictated the pace and had played the last quarter of the match with numerical advantage after Abeiku Ainooson was sent off for yellow card accumulation.

Ainooson felled Roger Lamptey inside the box and collected his yellow card.

Referee JA Amenya whistled for a penalty and it was expertly dispatched by substitute Tennesson Opoku.

But before that, Kotoko had taken the lead through Issah Yakubu in the 59th minute from a corner-kick.

“I am sad we couldn’t take all three points,” Basigi said.

"From our play Kotoko did not deserve a point and its sad we couldn’t kill them off.

"We still have five games to go and we are still in with a shout to make the top four which is out target.”
