Gyan scores and makes double assist in captain debut for Al Ain
Asamoah Gyan scored and gave two assists in Al Ain's comprehensive win

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan scored one and made two others in Al Ain’s comprehensive 4-0 at Ajman in the UAE top flight.

The 28-year-old was spotting the captain’s armband for the first time for the Boss in the game played at the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.

Gyan was doing the business in the UAE while his family were meeting the press in Ghana to break their silence on recent issues of national interest including the disappearance of his musical partner Castro and Janet Bandu.

The ex Sunderland hitman scored Al Ain’s third having assisted Omar Abdulrahman to open the scoring and Miroslav Stoch doubling the lead in the 36th and 40th minute respectively.

It was the second goal for the Black Stars captain in just his second game into the UAE league season.

Gyan was on hand again to slip in Mohammed Fawzi to score Al Ain’s fourth in injury time to wrap up the impressive away win.

Al Ain will next play Al Hilal in the return leg of their Asian Champions League semi final tie where Zlatko Dalic’s side must overturn a 3-0 deficit to make the finals of the competition.
