Guaruja city bids to host Ghana for 2014 World Cup finals

The Brazilian city of Guaruja has made a presentation to the Ghana Football Association to camp there for the World Cup finals.

Guaruja is a municipality in the Sao Paulo state of Brazil, located in the South Eastern part of the country.

It is known for its famous beaches such as Guaiúba, Tombo, Asturias, Pitangueiras, Enseada, Pernambuco, Pereque, Sao Pedro, Tijucopava, Iporanga, Praia Branca and Praia Preta.

Ghana FA officials have already visited and inspected facilities of three cities but yet to settle on one for the tournament.

The Black Stars will play all three Group G matches at different venues.

First, the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists will play USA in Natal on 16 June and the second match will against Germany on 21 June in Fortelaza.

The last match against Portugal will be played in Brasilia on 26 June.
