King Faisal President Abdul Karim Gruzah wants Ghana to awaken Cristiano Ronaldo from his rude ‘sleep’ when the Black Stars face Portugal at next year’s World Cup.

The Real Madrid star revealed he slept throughout the World Cup draw which saw his country pitched against Ghana, Germany and USA in Group G.

Ronaldo’s revelation is seen by many in bad taste and a subtle below-the-belt punch to rival teams in Group G especially Ghana.

The King Faisal President has now charged the Black Stars to show the acclaimed best player in the world and his bunch of talented teammates what Ghana is really made of by dishing them a resounding defeat when both teams clash next year in Brazil.

“Well he (Ronaldo) says he was sleeping throughout the draw, he should continue to,” Gruzah told Peace FM.

“He plays for Real Madrid right? Don’t they lose matches with him in action, draw or win?

“God should give us life, he will see Ghana.”
