Ghana Under-20 team Doctor Prince Bampoe says good sex by football players can help to deal with cardiac arrest.

The subject of the causes of heart failure has become topical in Ghana following the sudden demise of global television icon Komla Dumor last Saturday.

The BBC World presenter died suddenly at his home in London from a suspected heart attack in an unfortunate incident which has shocked Ghana, Africa and the world.

Sport Doctor, Prince Pamboe, has described sex a physical activity which enables the heart to work at its uttermost best by pumping more blood.

“Good sex is more than 100% better for the heart. Sports men should engage in healthy sex to enhance their health conditions,” he told Happy FM

“It’s one of the key ways to deal with such unfortunate things like cardiac arrest. It may not be the only answer but surely one of the ways.”

  1. Lord Dennings says:

The key here is Healthy sex, not abusive sex. This does not mean sports men and women should engage in indiscriminate sex.It does not gave the sports men and women the licence to have sex every second. Sex can also reduce one’s energy level. A word to a wise

  2. Lord Dennings says:

May be Dr. Pampoe needs to define what a good sex is?

  3. aberico says:

Well, but there are a large number of people who are not involved in sex activity at all but they are living healthy n they have never been seized by cardiac arrest. Footballers are involved in a lot of exercise during training and on the pitch, and yet we know footballers who were attacked by cardiac arrest. Is he telling us then that those who don’t involve in healthy sex will suffer cardiac arrest? He should give us a break. They say things like this n chase young women and people’s wives for their lustful satisfaction in promiscuity. He should give us a break n stop such incongruous comments.

  4. tupac says:

aberico give us a break! If u knw better dan de doctor why dnt u apply for his position den? He is a specialist n he knws wat he is saying. Dnt allow ur shallow thoughts to mislead u. We all have various ideas about cardiovascular strength n endurance. Respect his office.

  5. Bennet Tagbor says:

Seeking divine health through Christ and His promise in the holy scripture is the solution. One can choose to remain in God’s provision of divine health through His word. It is a choice ! When physicians fail the greatest physician (Jesus Christ) salvage any kind of adverse condition when the seeker consult Him. The only consultation fee is to receive His Lordship and receive eternal life in to your spirit and continue confessing His promise regarding divine health (Isaiah 33:24, III John 1:2, I peter 2:24 etc.). This is the ultimate solution!
