Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has told his Zambian teammate at Mamelodi Sundowns Kennedy Mweene they are in for a good beating when both teams clash in the 2014 World Cup qualifier.
The Black Stars are determined to atone for recent defeat suffered at the hands of the Chipolopolo in the deciding Group D clash in Kumasi on September 6.
Ghana only need a draw to secure progress in the qualifiers for next yearââ¬â¢s World Cup in Brazil whereas Zambia need a win to overtake the Black Stars.
But the Black Stars want to hand Zambia a resounding defeat to put them in their proper place following two back-to-back disappointing results against the Chipolopolo.
This, Black Stars defender Rashid Sumaila told his club teammate Mweene in noà uncertain terms ahead of the titanic clash on September 6.
ââ¬ÅI have spoken to him and he says they are calm and are not pressured at all,â⬠he told Metro FM.
ââ¬ÅHe says they have experienced players who have seen it all.
ââ¬ÅBut I told him we are very determined to beat them and that even if the match is played in Zambia now we will beat them.ââ¬
