Great Olympics captain Godwin Attram has attributed the side’s progress in the FA Cup to the penalty heroics of goalkeeper Richard Kingson.

The 36-year-old made two vital saves to help the Wonder club to the next stage of the competition at the expense of Ebusua Dwarfs.

Kingson is back with Great Olympics in a bid to revive his career and his performance on Thursday has won him more admirers.

Captain Godwin Attram lauded the performance of his co-veteran and believes he is the reason for the side’s progress in the FA Cup.

“Dwarfs is one of the biggest cubs – the traditional clubs in Ghana,” Attram said.

“Most of the players who played in the Premier League season are still in the team.

“But special thanks to Olele [Richard Kingson] if not for him, we would have probably been out of the competition.”
