Godsway Donyoh: Manchester City starlet unsure about New York City move
Man City's Donyoh in action for Falkenberg

Manchester City's Ghanaian youth striker Godsway Donyoh feels unsure he would be joining American side New York City though he reveals head coach at the club has spoken to him.

The 20-year-old spent last season with Swedish Allsvenskan side Falkenberg and is waiting for news from the English giants where he will play next.

However, reports from America suggest he might be joining New York City FC - a club whose expansion rights were purchased by the English Premier League club.

But Donyoh says he is unsure about anything yet.

"Though the coach spoke with me but I'm not sure I will be going there because City will have to be part of any agreement and they have not spoken yet," he told GHANAsoccernet.com on the GTV Sports Plus Top 11 show.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate scored 4 times in 16 league appearances for Falkenberg and he feels that was far below his level.

"The season didn't go well for me at all because I had a lot of injuries. And, also it was supposed to be the season I would use to prove something to City but things didn't go well because of the injuries.

But the upcoming season will be decisive for me."
