Aduana Stars defender Godfred Saka believes he did enough at the African Nations Championship to earn a place in Ghana’s squad for the World Cup.
The right-back was satisfied with his output and believes head coach Kwesi Appiah was also impressed
Saka played three matches for the Local Black Stars who won silver at the championship in South Africa.
“I think my performance at the CHAN competition should do the talking for me and help me secure a call-up from Kwesi Appiah,” Saka told Graphic Sports.
“I will also have the chance to convince coach Appiah during the second half of the ongoing league.”
Saka will rejoin his club side for Sunday’s First Capital Plus Premier League match against Hearts of Oak at home.
