Medeama striker Godbless Asamoah is confident they can overturn the 2-0 deficit against AC Leopards in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.

The Ghanaian side are down after leg one, but do have confidence they can overturn the deficit.

Medeama are behind the eight ball as they try to overcome the deficit to make a historic CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals berth at the expense of the Congolese side.

And striker Godbless Asamoah, who has scored two goals so far believes the feat is attainable.

“I believe it’s going to be one of those games where everyone has to be at their best. As such the defenders, midfielders and strikers must be on top,” he said

“You won’t really achieve the ultimate target if you have any passengers.

“I am extremely confident that we can score more than two goals to qualify.

“Sekondi fans have been amazing so far and I know they will get behind us in the final stretch.

The Mauve and Yellows will welcome midfield duo Malik Akowuah and Victor Ayirey for the decisive return leg.
