Spain-based goalkeeper Razak Brimah says he is certain of making Ghana’s final squad for the 2015 African Cup of Nations having been named in the preliminary roster.

The CD Mirandes glovesman statistically stands tall amongst the goalkeepers called up in the 31-man provisional squad announced on Wednesday.

Brimah will be going head-to-head against Fatau Dauda, Stephen Adams and Ernest Sowah for the three goalkeeping slots for next year’s tournament to be staged in Equatorial Guinea.

Coach Avram Grant must axe one of the four goalkeepers called up to audition for the first choice position in the Black Stars.

And the 27-year-old is confident he will not be the one to miss the plane to Equatorial Guinea when the final squad is announced by January 7.

“I am 200 percent sure of going to the Nations Cup,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I am very confident in my abilities and that is why I am sure I will go to the tournament based on my performance.

“I can only hope for an injury-free preparations and hope everything goes well throughout our camping.”

Ghana is expected to commence camping early January in Spain before flying into their base in Mongomo ahead of their first group game against Senegal.

The Black Stars will also face Algeria and Senegal in subsequent Group C encounters.
