Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy has refused to rule out a return to Fetteh Feyenoord.

The 28-year-old has been released by the capital club after failing to reach an agreement with the Phobians over a new deal.

He was trained at Fetteh Feyenoord Academy, now West Africa Football Academy after the acquisition of the Red Bull Soccer Academy in Sogakope.

McCarthy is waiting to be declared a free agent by the Player Status Committee and could make a return to Fetteh Feyenoord who have been promoted to the Ghana Premier League.

“I have not held talks with any club yet since leaving Hearts of Oak,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“I am working on securing the floating status and we will see what happens from there.”
