The Accra screening exercise for the inaugural Glo Soccer Academy took off on Wednesday.
Hundreds of youngsters between the ages 14-17 years thronged the Lizzy Sports Complex to compete for spots in what is to be the biggest football reality show to hit West Africa.
Many were accompanied by their parents and guardians including a 65-year-old Comfort Buabeng who came to offer support to his grandson.
The screening process in Accra marks the final procedure in Ghana following similar exercises in Kumasi and Tamale.
The exercise which will head to six other venues in Benin and Nigeria seeks to find 33 youngsters who will enter the Glo Soccer Academy house to be based in Nigeria.
Sixteen (16) finalists will then emerge and will be sent to the famous Manchester United Soccer School out of which the ultimate winner will emanate.
The screening exercise in Accra ends on Thursday at the Lizzy Sports Complex at East Legon.
