Inform Hearts of Oak striker Gilbert Fiamenyo says he is not down despite the recent snub by Black Stars coach Avram Grant to include him in the Black Stars squad for this weekend international friendlies.

The former Hearts of Lions striker has been in inspired form this season and has single handedly contributed 70% of goals scored by Hearts of Oak this season.

Fiamenyo has scored 8 goals in 11 games the best return for any player in the top flight this season. Despite injuries to Mahatma Otoo and Baba Rahman Fiamenyo was overlooked but says he is not letting that get to him.

“The Black Stars is the dream of every Ghanaian player and I am working hard to getting into that,” Fiamenyo told Accra based Citi FM

“When you doing well like I am doing the idea is to give an inform player the chance but I am not disappointed I am rather looking forward to working harder for future call up.”
