By Ameenu Shardow
Ghanaian striker John Antwi is making waves in pre-season for Ismaily ahead of the start of the Egyptian league.
The 20-year-old has scored four goals in six pre-season games for The Yellow Dragons.
Antwi, a former Hearts of Oak player was reported to have signed for newly promoted Egyptian side TelephonatBani Sweif on a four-year deal.
It has however emerged he did not sign the dotted lines for the Egyptian league rookies but rather for Ismaily.
Antwi was the highest goal scorer for Sekondi XI Wise in the 2008/2009 Ghana Premier League season with 8 goals.
He then joined the Phobians after Wise got relegated at the end of the following season.
