Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed has revealed he will go into full time farming when his football career ends.

The 24-year-old who currently plays for Russian club Kuban Krasnodar is said to be owning a vast farm land in Ghana.

The land is already being used to cultivate some crops which offers a good source of employment for Ghanaians.

Rabiu’s farm forms part of other investments made by affluent Ghanaian players to help boost the nation’s economy by providing jobs as a means to earn income.

Other Ghanaian players like Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu are also making similar contributions to nation building through the businesses they have in the country.

Rabiu who is a regular feature in the Black Stars team in recent years dreams of returning to full time farming when he ends his professional football career.

“I admire farming a lot so even after football I have the ambition to go into full time farming,” he said in an interview with GFA TV.
